Niamh and Bleu: A Dreamy Equestrian Photoshoot
Niamh had dreamt of an Equestrian Photoshoot with her stunning white Cob, Bleu, for a while. Finally, this October, she booked her experience with me, and despite a slight hiccup with a weather-related reschedule (white horses and muddy fields don't mix!), we ended up with the perfect Autumn Day. The sun shone brightly, the air was warm, and incredibly, Bleu was sparkling clean – a testament to the hard work Niamh and her mum put in preparing him for his photoshoot!
It felt more like a Summer's day than Autumn, with Niamh's elegant dress, a touch of sunflare, and a lane bursting with greenery creating a magical backdrop. We started with some timeless shots of Niamh and Bleu in his stable doorway, capturing their quiet connection against a classic black background. Then, we moved to a paddock where a vibrant red tree provided a striking contrast to Bleu's brilliant white coat.
An outfit change and a stroll down Bleu's usual hacking lane gave us another set of beautiful images, showcasing their relationship in a different light. Bleu, initially a tad stubborn about having both ears forward (always listening to Niamh, though!), eventually settled into the role of a supermodel. A huge thank you to Niamh's mum, who was an invaluable assistant, expertly wielding a feed bucket of treats and performing the "ear dance" to capture those perfect moments!
Bleu was a fantastic model, and the love between him and Niamh is so clear in the photos. You can see the time and effort that went into getting him ready, especially that pristine white coat! The entire shoot was a joy, and the resulting images are a beautiful celebration of their bond. It's clear how much Niamh loves Bleu, and these photos will be treasured memories for years to come.
